Delete your account

How to delete your account

Open the Acction app, go to Profile, choose Delete account and confirm.

Deletion happens immediately. There is no confirmation to wait for and nobody to email.

No longer have the app, or cannot get in? Write to jonathan@acction.app from the address on the account and we will do it for you within 30 days.

One thing that can stop you

If you host an evening that is published or ongoing, the account cannot be deleted. Complete or cancel that evening first — otherwise its guests would be left without a host.

What is deleted immediately

Your profile, name and picture. Your registrations and your answers to the registration questions, including practical needs. Your messages and reactions. Your friends and invitations. Your interests and contact fields. Your device tokens. Your blocks.

What stays, and why

Reviews you wrote stay but are anonymised: the name becomes "Deleted account" and the picture is removed. The text and rating remain so other guests can still judge an evening.

Reports about you stay, with the name and picture you had at the time. We need that to protect other guests.

Statistics stay but are disconnected from you.

If you want those removed too, write to jonathan@acction.app and we will weigh your request against the reasons for keeping them.
