What Acction is

Acction is where you find and join evenings — dinners, sport and other small gatherings — run by a host.

The evening is held by the host, not by us. We are responsible for the service: that you find the evening, get a place and can reach the host. The host is responsible for the evening itself.

Account and age

You must be at least 18.

You sign in with a link sent to your email address. Keep that address to yourself — whoever reaches your inbox reaches your account.

One account per person. Give truthful details about yourself.

Booking a place

When you join you get a place if one is free, otherwise you go on the waiting list. If a place opens up, whoever has waited longest is promoted automatically and told.

The price is shown on the evening’s page before you book. If food or anything else is included, it says so there.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from the evening’s page.

Cancel at least 48 hours before the start and you are entitled to the full amount back. Cancel later than that and you are entitled to half.

If the evening is cancelled, or you were on the waiting list, you always get the full amount back. Free evenings cost nothing to cancel.

Cancelling late affects both the host and everyone else coming. Cancel early rather than simply not turning up.

How you behave

Come if you said you would. Treat the host and the other guests well.

These are not allowed: harassing, threatening or discriminating; advertising anything; collecting other people’s data; impersonating someone; or using the service for anything unlawful.

You can block someone and report behaviour that does not belong. We read every report.

What you write

You keep the rights to your messages, reviews and what you fill in. You give us the right to show it in the service to those who should see it.

Write truthful reviews of evenings you actually attended. We remove content that breaks these terms.

If something goes wrong

If an evening is cancelled you are told and get the full amount back.

We are responsible for the service working as promised. We are not responsible for what happens during an evening — it is held by the host, and you take part at your own risk.

Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under Swedish law. If you are a consumer, whichever is most favourable to you always applies.

If we need to suspend an account

If someone breaks these terms we may suspend the account. We say why, unless the law prevents us.

You can stop at any time and delete your account in the app.

Changes

We may need to change these terms. If a change is material we will tell you before it takes effect, and you can decline by ceasing to use the service.

Law and disputes

Bouvale Group Ltd (reg.nr HE 489968) is registered in Cyprus, and Cypriot law governs these terms.

This never reduces your consumer protection. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, the mandatory consumer rules of your country of residence always apply. If you live in Sweden you keep your Swedish protection, whatever this says.

If you are unhappy, contact jonathan@acction.app first and we will try to sort it out.

If we cannot agree you can use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. If you live in Sweden you can also get free help from Konsument Europa (ECC Sweden), which assists in disputes with companies in other EU countries.

You may also bring proceedings before a court in the country where you live.

If you downloaded the app from the App Store

These terms are between you and Bouvale Group Ltd (reg.nr HE 489968) — not between you and Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.

Apple has no obligation to provide support. If the app does not work you may request a refund from Apple for the purchase price; beyond that Apple has no liability.

Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a US embargo and are not on any US prohibited-party list.
